At Ultimarii, we’re constantly at work to ensure we continually progress by adding new features to improve our user interface. We continue to innovate and ensure that our software remains up to date and easy to use.

What’s new at Ultimarii

Last month’s launch of the Hybrid Search feature enabled users to streamline their searches and locate specific references in documents, such as application numbers and dates. This feature, previously available for public libraries, has now been integrated into private libraries. Additionally, we have incorporated two new response models:
  • O3: This will be the default mode for all chats. It would be best for a balanced approach of both details and creative thinking.

  • O4 mini: The go-to tool for converting ideas to action and detailed analysis to clear solutions

  • GPT 4.1: For fine-tuning any work and problem-solving

The Hybrid Search feature, combined with the new output models, will generate better responses and have detailed excerpts and increase accuracy and efficiency overall for all users.

The chat settings have also been updated to reflect these changes. It can provide responses based on either the Concise or Narrative modes. Concise mode can break down sophisticated documents into structured, more understandable sections.

Uploading Documents

Uploading has also been updated to allow for up to 20 PDFs at once to be added to each private library collection.

Playbooks

Playbooks have become incredibly popular for their capacity to generate detailed responses for documents that individuals choose to engage in. The existing automated prompts have now been tailored to enable conversation with a collection of documents in a private library rather than just a single document. This enhancement will allow users to review multiple documents and applications simultaneously, saving time and clicks!

  • When generating a response, it will display thinking while it is generating an output. If a source document/collection does not match the playbook, it will also show an error message, which will explicitly mention that the document or collection might not match the playbook prompt.

Major Regulatory Updates

The most notable regulatory changes were:

  • Alberta Energy Regulator (AER): Updated Directives 09, 20, 79, 80.

  • British Columbia Energy Regulator (BCER): Released a new guideline on Guidance on well logging and sampling requirements, and a new notice of operation and reference guide.

  • Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB) and the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Energy Regulator (C-NSOER): There was a joint update on the Codes of Practice by the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) around the transportation of workers by helicopters to offshore oil facilities.

  • Ontario Energy Board (OEB): Amendment to the Distribution System Code.

Our team continues to remain hard at work behind the scenes to innovate and provide a more engaging experience for all users. Your experience and feedback greatly matter to us.
