Your Focus
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Expertise & Advisory
- Interpret and analyze regulatory frameworks governing oil and gas, mining, environmental, and infrastructure policies across North America.
- Advise internal stakeholders and clients on compliance, permitting, and policy implications.
- Identify opportunities to streamline regulatory workflows using technology and automation.
Solution Design & Implementation
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design AI-driven tools that address key regulatory pain points.

Stakeholder Engagement

What You Bring
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Advanced degree or professional certification in regulatory affairs, compliance, or energy policy is an asset.
Must Have:
- 2-5 years of experience in a regulatory, compliance, or policy role within oil & gas, and mining background.
- Proven experience working with or within major companies such as Cenovus, Suncor, TransAlta, or Capital Power (or similar).
- Strong understanding of regulator processes and other key regulatory bodies.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex regulations in practical business terms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and written communication skills.
- Interest in applying technology and data-driven solutions to regulatory challenges.

Ultimarii is hiring an Account Executive based in Calgary to support our continued growth across highly regulated industries including energy, utilities, mining, infrastructure, and government.
About the Role
This is a full-cycle sales role. The successful candidate will take ownership of their own pipeline and revenue targets — from prospecting through close — while operating within Ultimarii’s established go-to-market strategy, positioning, and playbooks.
This position is designed for a strong individual contributor who thrives on ownership, disciplined execution, and building trusted relationships in complex enterprise environments.
The right candidate is proactive, structured, and comfortable navigating technical and regulatory conversations, while collaborating closely with leadership, product, and delivery teams to advance deals.
Your Focus
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Ownership & Revenue Execution
- Own and manage your individual sales funnel end-to-end, including:
- Outbound prospecting
- Inbound lead follow-up
- Qualification and discovery
- Demos and follow-ups

- Consistently build and maintain a healthy pipeline aligned to individual revenue targets.

Deal Execution & Customer Engagement
- Lead discovery conversations to deeply understand regulatory, operational, and organizational challenges.
- Clearly articulate Ultimarii’s value proposition in a tailored and consultative manner.
- Support customers through pilots, security reviews, procurement processes, RFPs, and contract discussions.
- Coordinate with internal Product, Technical, and Delivery teams to ensure accurate scoping and smooth deal progression.
- Ensure clean handoffs to Delivery and Customer Success once contracts are signed.
CRM & Sales Discipline
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene using HubSpot, including:
- Accurate deal stages
- Forecasting
- Activity tracking
- Clear next steps

- Use Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) to prepare deal materials and maintain documentation.
- Provide regular pipeline updates and communicate risks or blockers proactively.
